Terms of Use

Plain-language terms covering what you may do with this converter, what you may not, and where responsibility sits when something goes wrong.

Last updated: 9 September 2026

1. Agreeing to these terms

By opening ytmp3music.net and using the converter you accept the terms set out on this page. If any part of them is unacceptable to you, the appropriate response is to close the tab — no account needs cancelling and nothing needs uninstalling.

2. What the service is

YTMP3Music is a free, browser-based tool that takes a video link you supply and returns the audio from it as an MP3 file. It is a general-purpose utility. It does not host a media library, it does not index or recommend content, and it does not decide what you point it at.

3. Who may use it

You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, and you must not be barred from using this kind of service under any law that applies to you. If you are using it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.

4. Your responsibility for what you convert

This is the part that matters most, so it is stated plainly: you are solely responsible for the material you put through this tool and for what you do with the resulting file.

Converting content you created, content you own the rights to, content in the public domain and content released under a licence permitting it — Creative Commons, for instance — is your business and generally unproblematic. Converting a commercial release you hold no rights to is not something these terms permit, and doing it anyway is your decision and your liability, not ours. YouTube's own Terms of Service separately address downloading from their platform, and nothing here overrides your agreement with them.

5. Things you must not do

  • Use the service for anything unlawful, or to infringe anyone's copyright, trade mark, privacy or other rights.
  • Attempt to reach private, unlisted, age-restricted, members-only or otherwise access-controlled material.
  • Circumvent, or try to circumvent, technical protection measures, paywalls or geographic restrictions.
  • Run automated scripts, scrapers, bots or bulk submissions against the site, or otherwise place an unreasonable load on it.
  • Resell, rebrand, embed or otherwise commercialise the service or its output as though it were yours.
  • Probe, scan, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the infrastructure.

We may block access to anyone doing these things, without notice and without owing an explanation.

6. Third-party services

Parts of the page are supplied by other companies — the conversion panel, the web fonts, the contact form handler. Their own terms and privacy policies govern what they do, and we do not control or endorse them. The privacy policy lists exactly which services are involved and when each one loads.

7. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, that every link will convert, that output will meet your expectations, or that results will be free of errors.

Practically speaking: videos get removed, formats change, upstream providers have bad days. When a conversion fails, that is the most likely reason.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YTMP3Music and anyone operating it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of data, profits, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of your use of — or inability to use — the service. This applies however the claim arises and even if we were told such damages were possible.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the service, which is zero.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YTMP3Music and its operators against any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) brought by a third party and arising from your use of the service or your breach of these terms — including any claim that material you converted infringed someone's rights.

10. Copyright complaints

If you hold rights in material you believe is being infringed through this service, the copyright and DMCA page explains exactly what a notice needs to contain and where to send it. Notices are dealt with ahead of general correspondence.

11. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, limit or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice. These terms may also be updated; the current version always lives at this address with its revision date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a court finds any provision unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain in force.
